Victim Assistance would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Eilish and Mick of the Folk Café for their generosity and kindness during the recent Coillte Come Home Festival, in Kiltimagh, co. Mayo.
As part of the festivities, Eilish and Mick organised a wonderful Ceilí at the Café – an evening filled with music, dancing, and community spirit. The event was a great success, bringing people together in celebration while also raising vital funds for our charity.
We are delighted to share that the proceeds from the door, totalling €500.83, were donated directly to Victim Assistance. We are extremely grateful for this contribution, which will go a long way in helping us continue our mission.
Every euro donated to Victim Assistance supports the provision of a free, confidential support service for victims of crime and trauma across our community. It is because of the generosity of people like Eilish and Mick, and the kindness of those who attend and support these events, that we can carry out this important work.
We are also thrilled to announce that the next Ceilí at the Café will take place on Saturday, 27th September at 8.30pm. We warmly encourage everyone to come along, enjoy a lively evening, and show your support for a cause that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
Once again, thank you to the Folk Café for their incredible support, and to everyone who joined in the dancing – your contribution truly matters.
